Rexing V1P Pro Dual Dash Cam Review: Is It Worth It for Truckers?
by the Trucker Gear Lab crew
Best for: Budget front and rear setup

My quick take
I'll be straight with you. Inexpensive way to cover front and rear. Good enough to protect you in a fender bender. When a four-wheeler cuts you off and brakes, the footage is the only witness that's on your side. It can save your CDL and your insurance rate.
I don't care about fancy boxes or a long list of features nobody uses. What matters out here is simple: does it work when you need it, does it hold up to the bouncing and the heat and the cold, and is it worth what you pay? That's how I looked at the Rexing V1P Pro Dual Dash Cam. If you already know this is the one, you can check the current price on Amazon here and skip the rest.

What I like about it
- Low price
- Two cameras
- Heat tolerant
Those are the things that actually make a difference on a long run. A lot of drivers I talk to say the same thing: once you have one that works, you stop thinking about it — and that's the whole point. Plenty of reviews on the Rexing V1P Pro Amazon page back that up, so it's worth a read if you want more opinions.
What I don't like
- Average night video
- Rear cable short for trailers
No product is perfect, and I'd rather tell you now than have you find out at a truck stop at 2 a.m. For most drivers these aren't deal-breakers, but they matter depending on how you run.
Before you buy
Look for night clarity, a supercapacitor instead of a battery (heat kills batteries in a hot cab), and a wide enough view to catch lane changes.
Who should buy it (and who shouldn't)
Buy the Rexing V1P Pro Dual Dash Cam if you're one of the budget front and rear setup. That's who it's built for, and that's where it shines. If one of the downsides above is a big deal for you, look at the other picks in Dash Cams & Truck Visibility — there's probably a better fit. Still on the fence? See what other drivers are saying about it — the questions section is gold.
My bottom line
The Rexing V1P Pro Dual Dash Cam earns a 4.2 out of 5 from me. It's not about having the most expensive gear — it's about having gear that doesn't let you down when the load's on the line. For budget front and rear setup, this is an easy one to recommend.
Don't wait until you need it
Get the Rexing V1P Pro Dual Dash Cam before your next run
The worst time to shop for gear is when you're broke down on the shoulder. Order it now, have it shipped to your house or a terminal, and it's in the cab when it counts. Amazon's return policy has your back if it isn't right for your truck.
